COMUNICATO STAMPA – CONTENUTO PROMOZIONALE

LONDON, May 26, 2026 /PRNewswire/ — Connected fitness bikes often require ongoing monthly subscriptions long after the hardware purchase, but the new Merach S29R2 takes a different approach. It combines self-powered operation, smart auto-resistance, and optional app connectivity, including support for popular third-party platforms like Zwift and Kinomap, without locking core functionality behind a mandatory subscription. Designed for flexible home use, it keeps workouts accessible and subscription-free.

Cordless Freedom for Any Room

What sets the S29R2 apart from other smart bikes is its independence from power outlets. Using an integrated generator system, the bike converts pedaling energy into the power needed to operate its electronics and onboard display — eliminating the need for wall outlets, charging cables, or battery replacements.

With the first pedal stroke, the LCD display activates automatically, showing performance data including time, speed, distance, calories burned, and resistance level. Combined with front transport wheels and a cordless setup, the bike can be easily moved from room to room, whether for a quick workout in the living room or a longer ride by the balcony window.

Smart Resistance That Responds in Real Time

Instead of relying on a traditional manual tension knob, the S29R2 uses an electronic resistance system controlled through onboard display buttons or app-based workout programs. The remaining mechanical knob functions exclusively as a braking and emergency-stop control.

When connected to compatible virtual cycling platforms, the bike automatically adjusts resistance to match terrain changes in real time, responding in under three seconds to simulate climbs, descents, and changing riding conditions. The system also includes seven preset automatic training programs.

Designed for Everyday Home Fitness

The Merach S29R2 launched on April 26, 2026, and is available through merachfit.de at a recommended retail price (RRP) of €659.99. Pricing may vary on Amazon.

About Merach

New platform combines SeRo’s GRX receiver hardware with SecureTrack MLAT and ADS-B technologies to deliver integrated airport surface surveillance

Designed to support safe and efficient airport surface operations with enhanced situational awareness

FRANKFURT, Germany, May 26, 2026 /PRNewswire/ — SeRo Systems, a leader in air traffic surveillance security and monitoring solutions, today announced the expansion of its portfolio with the MLX1090, a new Surface MLAT System for integration into Advanced Surface Movement Guidance and Control Systems (A-SMGCS). Developed in accordance with EUROCAE ED-117A and ED-129B standards, the platform provides continuous monitoring and tracking to support operational awareness and separation of aircraft and ground vehicles across active airport movement areas.

Drawing on SeRo’s proven airspace and ground monitoring technologies, MLX1090 integrates GRX receiver hardware with SecureTrack software, combining their high-precision multilateration (MLAT) and ADS-B surveillance capabilities into a unified operational picture. This allows A-SMGCS systems to continuously track aircraft and ground vehicle positions, giving controllers and airport operators real-time safety alerting and situational awareness across the airfield and surrounding terminal airspace. Running on a dedicated on-premises server independent of external cloud services and backed by SeRo’s maintenance and support, the system offers regional, general aviation, and commercial airports a secure, cost-effective solution for integrated surface surveillance and tracking.

“Airports today face mounting pressure to improve surface safety and operational resilience while controlling infrastructure costs,” said Markus Fuchs, CTO and CISO of SeRo Systems. “Our MLX1090 is a natural evolution of the airspace and ground monitoring technology we’ve refined over more than a decade. By integrating our GRX receivers with our MLAT and real-time analytics capabilities, we’ve engineered a scalable, cost-effective solution that makes advanced surveillance capabilities available to smaller airports.”

Currently undergoing field trials at a German regional airport, the MLX1090 extends SeRo’s broader portfolio of airspace surveillance, RF spectrum monitoring, and GNSS interference detection technologies already trusted by ANSPs, regulators, and aviation authorities across Europe and the United States.

About SeRo Systems

Headquartered in Frankfurt, Germany, SeRo Systems provides technology and engineering expertise to monitor and ensure the security and safety of air navigation and surveillance services and support spectrum and regulatory compliance. SeRo’s solutions support Air Navigation Service Providers, aviation authorities, and regulatory agencies across Europe and beyond.

COMUNICATO STAMPA – CONTENUTO PROMOZIONALE

BANGKOK, THAILAND –
Media OutReach Newswire
– 25 May 2026 – Thai Cement Manufacturers Association (TCMA) has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Chulalongkorn University to advance a strategic collaboration on knowledge, and technology, with support from international partners. The partnership aims to develop and pilot carbon capture technologies in SARABURI SANDBOX, paving the way for industrial-scale deployment and future policy development. This marks a significant step in laying the foundation for Thailand’s low-carbon industrial ecosystem and supporting the country’s Net Zero 2050 target.

Mr. Surachai Nimla-or, Chairman of TCMA, stated that the collaboration reflects the proactive role of the industrial sector in advancing the country’s climate commitments through a Public–Private Partnership (PPP) model. The initiative brings together industry, academia, government, and international partners, including Environment and Climate Change Canada (ECCC), the United Nations Industrial Development Organization (UNIDO), and the Global Cement and Concrete Association (GCCA), to accelerate the transition toward a low-carbon cement industry in line with the Thailand 2050 Net Zero Cement and Concrete Roadmap.

“This collaboration with Chulalongkorn University elevates our efforts into a long-term platform, from knowledge development and workforce readiness to pilot-scale technology deployment. It will be strengthened by Canadian expertise and real-world testing in the SARABURI SANDBOX, which will serve as a learning platform to develop scalable solutions for industrial application” Mr. Surachai said.

Professor Dr. Wilert Puriwat, President of Chulalongkorn University, emphasized the university’s role as a Strategic Knowledge Partner in bridging research and real-world implementation, while fostering “Green Talent” to support industrial transformation.

“Chulalongkorn University sees this collaboration as a strategic mechanism to strengthen the knowledge base in low-carbon technologies alongside human capital development. This will enhance workforce capabilities in line with the transition and support Thailand’s long-term green economy” Professor Dr. Wilert said.

H.E. Ping Kitnikone, Ambassador of Canada to Thailand, expressed Canada’s strong support for the initiative, highlighting over 65 years of bilateral relations and shared commitment to climate action.

“This collaboration encompasses knowledge transfer, technology, and expertise in greenhouse gas mitigation, particularly through technical experts and capacity building. Carbon capture technology will serve as a bridge between innovation and industrial application, helping drive the transition toward a low-carbon economy,” the ambassador noted.

From the government side, Dr. Pirun Saiyasitpanich, Director General of Department of Climate Change and Environment, Ministry of Natural Resources and Environment stated that the cement industry is a strategic sector in reducing national greenhouse gas emissions toward Net Zero 2050, while strengthening climate resilience.

“This collaboration serves as a key policy mechanism linking project-level implementation to national-level action, with SARABURI SANDBOX acting as a testbed for learning and development. The outcomes will inform policy design and enable effective scaling at the national level” Dr. Pirun said.

Mr. Teeratas Isarangkul Na Ayudhaya, Deputy Director General of the Department of Industrial Works, Ministry of Industry added that the initiative aligns with the “One MIND” policy, which integrates regulation with the promotion of green industry.

“The Department stands ready to support this collaboration in developing a scalable industrial model that enhances Thailand’s competitiveness in a sustainability-driven global economy” Mr. Teeratas said.

Dr. Chana Poomee, Honorary Chairman of TCMA and President of ASEAN Federation of Cement Manufacturers (AFCM), highlighted the initiative as a key step in positioning Thailand as a “regional model” for industrial decarbonization.

“By integrating cross-sector collaboration through PPP, linking policy, technology, knowledge, and workforce development to real-world implementation, this initiative will establish the foundation of a Low-Carbon Industrial Ecosystem and evolve into a system-level model that can be scaled across the region,” he said.

This collaboration marks the starting point of Thailand’s low-carbon industrial ecosystem, connecting knowledge, technology, innovation, human capital, and policy into real-world applications and commercial pathways. It is expected to accelerate the transition to a low-carbon economy, strengthen climate resilience, and enhance the country’s competitiveness in an increasingly sustainability-driven global landscape.

COMUNICATO STAMPA – CONTENUTO PROMOZIONALE

ROMA, ITALIA –
Media OutReach Newswire

Ergonomically designed with dual-side pressure-relief air chambers and a streamlined grip, the AirX embodies the philosophy of “Truth to Materials, Form Follows Function,” presenting a futuristic, air-functional aesthetic. AirX proves that protection, design, and sustainability can reach their pinnacle simultaneously.

Mono-material Design: RHINOSHIELD’s Answer to the Circular Economy

As global circularity policies and sustainability regulations continue to evolve, plastic is no longer viewed merely as a material issue, but as a challenge for systemic governance. Across the globe, regulatory bodies are increasingly implementing “Extended Producer Responsibility” (EPR), urging manufacturers to prioritize life-cycle management. This shift encourages the adoption of mono-material designs, easy disassembly, and the use of recycled content to drastically reduce reliance on virgin resources.

Most consumer plastic products remain difficult to recycle due to complex composite materials that are nearly impossible to separate. Recognizing this barrier, RHINOSHIELD proactively adopted a Mono-material Design strategy in 2017, eliminating recycling obstacles at the source to ensure its entire phone case lineup is 100% recyclable. Following the 2022 launch of its comprehensive recycling ecosystem and the 2024 debut of the SolidX Circular (crafted from recycled phone case waste), the 2025/26 AirX continues to set new industry standards—proving that high-performance protection and circular innovation can go hand in hand on a global scale.

“Circularity should not just be an idea; it must be a verifiable and scalable system,” said Eric Wang, Co-founder and CEO of RHINOSHIELD. “We don’t want to just ‘passively comply’ with regulations; we choose to ‘actively design.’ Through material engineering, we create a closed loop between usage, recycling, and regeneration. Our brand demonstrates that circular design can be a competitive advantage, proving that business models can thrive alongside sustainability.”

Setting a Higher Standard: No BPA/S/F detection and PFAS-NIA Across All Phone Cases

RHINOSHIELD emphasizes that true protection extends beyond drop testing to safeguarding human health and the environment. As daily-use items in constant contact with skin, phone case safety is paramount.

Our entire range of phone cases are formulated without PFAS and independently tested by SGS, with no detectable traces of BPA, BPS and BPF

From Product Innovation to Systemic Change

Beyond product design, RHINOSHIELD continues to scale its RHINO LOOP Circular Ecosystem, leveraging reverse logistics and international mail-back recycling programs across the US, France, Germany and UK, to lower barriers to participation—making circularity a more accessible part of everyday life.

COMUNICATO STAMPA – CONTENUTO PROMOZIONALE

SEOUL, South Korea, May 26, 2026 /PRNewswire/ — Sky Labs (CEO Jack ByungHwan Lee) announced on the 26th that its ring-type cuffless blood pressure monitor, ‘CART BP pro,’ has been officially integrated into the ‘2026 Korean Society of Hypertension Guidelines for the Management of Hypertension (6th Edition).’

This marks the first time in the world that a ring-type blood pressure monitor, which measures blood pressure simply by being worn on a finger without a cuff that compresses the arm, has been included in official hypertension treatment guidelines. With this, Korea has become the first country among global healthcare systems to incorporate cuffless blood pressure measurement technology into mainstream clinical practice.

Through this revised guideline, the Korean Society of Hypertension explicitly stated the “first inclusion of cuffless blood pressure measuring devices in clinical practice” and presented them as devices that may be considered for out-of-office blood pressure monitoring. In the guideline, the recommendation class for cuffless blood pressure monitors was designated as ‘Class IIb.’

This inclusion in the treatment guidelines is also an innovative change drawing attention from the global hypertension academic community. Until now, major academic societies in the United States and Europe had maintained a cautious stance on the introduction of cuffless devices due to reasons such as the lack of standardized validation protocols and differences in accuracy among devices. Even amid such concerns, Sky Labs’ ring-type blood pressure monitor not only showed favorable correlation with office blood pressure measured by the traditional auscultatory method, but also demonstrated a high level of accuracy comparable to standard 24-hour ambulatory blood pressure monitoring (ABPM) values. Based on such strong clinical evidence, the Korean Society of Hypertension decided to make the world’s first official recommendation.

The Korean Society of Hypertension (KSH) formalized the clinical protocols for ‘out-of-office blood pressure measurement’ for patients with prehypertension and high-risk groups requiring intensive blood pressure control. First, it set the target blood pressure for patients with diabetes, chronic kidney disease, cerebral infarction (accompanied by stroke), and high-risk hypertension at a more stringent ‘below 130/80 mmHg’ than before and presented risk-based drug treatment guidelines. In addition, for the ‘prehypertension’ patient group, which is highly likely to progress to hypertension, it also specified the recommendation to actively consider ambulatory blood pressure monitoring (ABPM) or home blood pressure measurement in order to determine whether masked hypertension is present.

As the need for 24-hour monitoring is thus expanding even to patients with prehypertension, the wearable ‘ring-type cuffless blood pressure monitor,’ which can be worn without interfering with daily life, is emerging as a practical alternative in clinical settings. This is because it can precisely track the risks of ‘nocturnal hypertension’ and ‘morning hypertension,’ which are difficult to detect through one-time office measurements alone, as well as ‘resistant hypertension,’ which is difficult to treat.

According to a domestic study cited in the guideline, the frequency of nocturnal hypertension, defined as blood pressure of 120/70 mmHg or higher during sleep, reaches about 18–23% of the general population. In particular, 92.6% of patients with nocturnal hypertension were classified as having masked hypertension, appearing to have normal blood pressure in everyday circumstances, and were found to have a higher risk of cardiovascular disease, including increased arterial stiffness and left ventricular hypertrophy, compared with the normotensive group. In addition, morning hypertension, defined as morning blood pressure of 135/85 mmHg or higher, was also reported at 15.9% in a domestic study of patients with hypertension and was pointed out as a major risk factor for cardiovascular events.

To more precisely evaluate high‑risk conditions such as nocturnal and morning hypertension, the Society recommends 24‑hour ambulatory blood pressure monitoring and presents ring‑type cuffless blood pressure monitors as a clinical tool for out‑of‑office blood pressure monitoring. In particular, the Society noted the ring-type cuffless monitor as an innovative alternative to overcome the longstanding clinical limitations of conventional cuff-type ABPMs—such as the inconvenience of 24-hour wear, repetitive compression pain, and resulting sleep disturbances, which often disrupted effective nighttime readings.

According to research cited in the guidelines, the ring‑type cuffless blood pressure monitor met the accuracy requirements of the international standard (ISO 81060‑2:2018) in comparative clinical trials against standard 24‑hour ambulatory blood pressure monitoring (ABPM), maintaining a mean error within 5 mmHg and a standard deviation within 8 mmHg during both day and night, and thus demonstrated its clinical usefulness.

Sky Labs’ ‘CART BP pro’ analyzes blood pressure data collected through photoplethysmography (PPG) using AI deep learning technology, enabling 24-hour measurement during daily life or sleep with minimal discomfort. As a result, it is regarded as an alternative that can precisely evaluate a patient’s blood pressure variability and innovatively improve the accuracy of hypertension diagnosis and treatment.

Based on such clinical excellence, ‘CART BP pro’ succeeded in becoming the first ring-type blood pressure monitor to receive national health insurance reimbursement under South Korea’s National Health Insurance (NHI) system in June 2024. Since its reimbursement entry, it has been prescribed more than 250,000 times in frontline medical settings up to now and is being actively used at 1,920 hospitals and clinics nationwide, including tertiary general hospitals.

Jack ByungHwan Lee, CEO of Sky Labs, emphasized, “The inclusion of ‘CART BP pro’ in the KSH guidelines demonstrates that Korea is leading the global clinical standard for cuffless blood pressure technology. Leveraging this unparalleled clinical evidence and our successful domestic adoption, we will now accelerate overseas regulatory approvals to establish a new global standard in hypertension management.”

About Sky Labs https://skylabs.io/en/

Founded in September 2015, Sky Labs is a healthcare company that develops and operates “CART”, a ring-type medical device and platform for monitoring chronic disease patients. Since the first CART was developed in 2020 for atrial fibrillation monitoring using cardiac signals from optical sensors, the company has expanded its capabilities. In 2023, Sky Labs received medical device approval for “CART BP pro,” a ring-type monitor designed for 24-hour blood pressure measurement. In 2024, CART BP pro was recognized by the Health Insurance Review and Assessment Service (HIRA) under the existing medical procedure of ’24-hour ambulatory blood pressure monitoring’ (reimbursement code ‘E6547’), and is currently being prescribed in hospitals and clinics across Korea. Furthermore, in September 2025, the company launched “CART BP,” a consumer-grade ring-type blood pressure monitor, which is available through its official online store and various other online channels.

MANILA, Philippines, May 26, 2026 /PRNewswire/ — As global travelers increasingly seek destinations that offer authenticity, space, and meaningful experiences, the Philippines is emerging as a compelling alternative to Southeast Asian favorites like Bali or Phuket. With 7,641 islands, the country offers a rare combination of unspoiled natural beauty, cultural depth, and seamless accessibility—appealing to travelers looking for the perfect tropical escape.

While neighboring countries continue to draw large visitor volumes, shifting traveler preferences toward less crowded, more immersive destinations are redefining travel choices across Asia. In this landscape, the Philippines stands out—not as a replacement, but as an evolution—offering the same tropical allure with greater diversity, flexibility, and room to explore.

What distinguishes the Philippines is the sheer variety of island experiences available within a single destination. From the iconic white-sand beaches of Boracay to the limestone cliffs and hidden lagoons of Palawan, travelers can curate journeys that range from vibrant social scenes to secluded retreats.

For those seeking a more laid-back atmosphere, Siargao offers a balance of surf culture and slow living, while lesser-known destinations such as Camiguin and Romblon provide untouched landscapes and intimate experiences far from mass tourism. Thanks to the Philippines’ archipelagic nature, travelers are naturally dispersed, creating opportunities for privacy, exclusivity, and a deeper connection with each destination.

Beyond its beaches, the country’s landscapes extend to highlands, volcanoes, and heritage towns. Visitors can explore the cobblestone streets of Vigan, trek scenic mountains, or experience vibrant urban culture in Cebu and Manila—creating a multidimensional journey that goes beyond the typical island holiday.

Seamless Access, Authentic Experiences

The Philippines’ accessibility continues to improve, with Manila, the country’s primary international gateway, offering direct flights from key North American cities, including Los Angeles, San Francisco, New York, Vancouver, and Toronto. These long-haul connections—combined with efficient domestic flights and ferry networks—make multi-destination travel across the islands both convenient and flexible.

Supported by the Department of Tourism (DOT), the country continues to enhance its tourism infrastructure while promoting sustainable and community-based travel experiences. Across destinations, visitors can engage with local culture through food, festivals, and everyday life—transforming each trip into a more meaningful and immersive journey.

What ultimately sets the Philippines apart is its ability to balance adventure and relaxation, discovery and comfort. Whether diving in coral-rich waters, exploring heritage towns, or simply enjoying a quiet stretch of beach, travelers are offered experiences that feel both personal and expansive.

As global travel evolves beyond crowded destinations, the Philippines presents a compelling alternative: a place where natural beauty remains unspoiled, cultural connections run deep, and every island offers a new perspective. For travelers ready to look beyond the familiar, it is a destination that delivers not just an alternative—but a distinctly richer way to experience Southeast Asia.

COMUNICATO STAMPA – CONTENUTO PROMOZIONALE

BREMEN, Germany, May 26, 2026 /PRNewswire/ — ConstructorGroup has chosen to relocate its headquarters from Switzerland to Singapore, one of the world’s most prevalent innovation hubs—a decision that will create approximately 200 new high-skilled positions for young and seasoned professionals. The move and long-term partnership further strengthens the Constructor Group’s connection with Singapore. In total, Constructor will create more than 200 new jobs over the next 2-3 years, expanding its regional footprint to more than 250 people, extending to research, education, deep technology and capital businesses.

The decision for Constructor Group to establish itself in Singapore was made after an extensive international evaluation process of leading technology destinations. The Singapore government welcomes this initiative, which will contribute to strengthening Singapore’s AI and quantum ecosystem, and enhance capabilities for the research and education sector.

“Singapore is one the world’s top technology and research environments, and their support has opened a new door,” said Dr. Serg Bell, Constructor Group Founder and Chairman of the Board. “Constructor Group’s entire ecosystem — research, education, deep technology and capital — will now sit in one place to define what AI and quantum mean for industry and education over the next decade,” said Dr. Bell.

Why Singapore

The decision reflects Singapore’s position as a globally recognised innovation and technology hub. Singapore ranks among the world’s leading economies on measures of innovation, talent competitiveness, and global connectivity, including being ranked #1 on the 2026 Henley Passport Index and remaining in the global top five of the WIPO Global Innovation Index. The country is also continuing to strengthen its AI and deep tech ecosystem under National AI Strategy 2.0, supported by sustained investments in infrastructure, research, and talent development.

Singapore has become an important regional base for many leading technology companies, including OpenAI, Microsoft, Google, and Workato, reflecting the country’s attractiveness as a hub for technology innovation, talent, and enterprise adoption. Constructor’s move is aligned with these broader ecosystem trends.

“Digital Industry Singapore welcomes Constructor Group’s plans to establish its AI and Quantum Centre of Excellence in Singapore. This investment will further strengthen Singapore’s growing deep-tech ecosystem, and create valuable opportunities for collaboration with our research and enterprise partners. Through these partnerships, we look forward to new capabilities and innovations being developed from Singapore,” said Philbert Gomez, Senior Vice President, Executive Director and Head of Digital Industry Singapore.

COMUNICATO STAMPA – CONTENUTO PROMOZIONALE

ATHENS, Greece, May 26, 2026 /PRNewswire/ — Hanshow, a global leader in digital retail solutions, today announced a large‑scale collaboration with Hellenic Hypermarkets Sklavenitis S.A., one of Greece’s largest FMCG retailers, supporting the company’s efforts to modernize store operations and build a future‑ready in‑store infrastructure across its extensive retail network.

Operating over 460 stores along with distribution centers and eMarket facilities nationwide, Sklavenitis serves more than 680,000 customers daily, requiring operational excellence, consistency, and trust at every touchpoint. With a broad product assortment and high store traffic, simplifying internal processes and maintaining operational consistency are critical priorities for the smooth and reliable operation of its stores. This is where Hanshow’s technology comes in—helping to turn operational complexity into consistent store-level execution, enhancing operational performance, supporting team efficiency and ultimately delivering a more reliable and trusted experience for customers.

To support these priorities, Sklavenitis has initiated a nationwide ESL rollout in partnership with Hanshow, deploying electronic shelf labels at scale across its extensive store portfolio. The rollout will standardize Hanshow’s Nebular Ultra ESL series across the store network. Featuring centimeter‑level, highly accurate shelf intelligence, Nebular Ultra enables precise product placement and strong shelf‑level visibility, supporting planogram execution and operational management at scale. Beyond immediate operational benefits, the deployment also establishes a digital shelf infrastructure capable of supporting future in-store innovations. Combined with technologies such as computer vision and smart shopping carts, the high-precision shelf framework can enable advanced automation, real-time shelf monitoring, and new data-driven retail applications as part of Sklavenitis’ broader digital transformation roadmap.

“As grocery retail becomes increasingly complex and regulated, leading retailers like Sklavenitis are rethinking the role of in‑store infrastructure,” said Liangyan Li, SVP and Head of Global Sales at Hanshow. “This collaboration is about building a digital foundation that supports accuracy, efficiency, and long‑term adaptability, and our role is to enable that strategy at scale.”

This collaboration reflects Hanshow’s continued commitment to empowering leading retailers worldwide through scalable, future‑ready in‑store infrastructure, supporting long‑term transformation while keeping each retailer’s strategy and values at the center.

COMUNICATO STAMPA – CONTENUTO PROMOZIONALE

COMUNICATO STAMPA – CONTENUTO PROMOZIONALE

BEIJING, May 26, 2026 /PRNewswire/ — CGTN published an article on Chinese President Xi Jinping’s meeting with Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic in Beijing. Highlighting the ironclad friendship between the two countries, the article focused on their mutually beneficial cooperation and upholding of fairness and justice, and stressed efforts to elevate the China-Serbia comprehensive strategic partnership to new heights.

Hailed as the pride of Serbia, the century-old Smederevo Steelworks stands as a shining symbol of mutually beneficial cooperation between China and Serbia.

Once mired in severe operational difficulties and on the brink of bankruptcy, the plant made a remarkable comeback in 2016 when its Chinese partner arrived, thanks to the deepening of high-quality Belt and Road cooperation between the two countries. Today, it has become one of the world’s largest iron and steel makers and integrated service providers measured by production capacity.

During a state visit to Serbia in 2024, Chinese President Xi Jinping gave Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic replica steel models as gifts. The models, in the shape of China’s Temple of Heaven and Serbia’s Church of Saint Sava, were made of steel produced by the plant, signifying the stronger ties between the two countries.

On Monday, the two leaders held talks in Beijing. Xi called on the two countries to jointly forge a bright path toward a shared future and common prosperity and elevate the China-Serbia comprehensive strategic partnership to new heights.

Ironclad friendship

From the opening ceremony of the Beijing 2022 Olympic Winter Games to the Belt and Road Forum for International Cooperation to commemorative activities marking the 80th anniversary of the victory of the Chinese People’s War of Resistance Against Japanese Aggression and the World Anti-Fascist War, Vucic has attended multiple major events in China. The term “ironclad friendship” has become a hallmark of bilateral meetings and phone calls between the two leaders.

Guided by the strategic guidance of the two leaders, China-Serbia relations have maintained high-standard development in recent years. In 2025, bilateral trade reached $6.49 billion, marking a 13% year-on-year increase, according to the Chinese Foreign Ministry.

Serbia was among the earliest European countries to partner with China in the Belt and Road Initiative (BRI). In recent years, China and Serbia, under the BRI, have accelerated the development of a series of projects such as the Budapest-Belgrade railway and the Fruska Gora Corridor linking Novi Sad and Ruma.

In October 2025, the Chinese-built Serbian section of the Budapest-Belgrade railway was fully inaugurated. Vucic marked the occasion by taking a ride on the newly opened railway, hailing it as a generational achievement that “will forever be written into the history books.”

With the China-Serbia Free Trade Agreement taking effect on July 1, 2024, Serbian specialty products, such as wine, honey, beef and mutton, are increasingly entering the Chinese market. Meanwhile, projects constructed with the participation of Chinese companies, such as the Belgrade bypass and the Gornji Milanovac bypass, have been completed, serving as key infrastructure projects supporting Serbia’s national development.

The ironclad friendship between China and Serbia is unique and has a profound historical logic and practical foundation, Xi told Vucic, urging both sides to continue to strengthen youth and cultural exchanges and leverage visa exemption policies, the free trade agreement, and direct flights to expand all-round cooperation in multiple areas to inherit and carry forward the traditional friendship.

On Monday, Xi also awarded Vucic the Friendship Medal of the People’s Republic of China. Describing the occasion as “one of the most important moments of my life,” Vucic reaffirmed his commitment to promoting the bilateral friendship between Serbia and China and advancing the building of a Serbia-China community with a shared future.

Shared future

Built on shared historical trials and lofty aspirations, China and Serbia both cherish perseverance and resilience, uphold national independence and dignity, and share a profound understanding of the importance of upholding peaceful development, fairness and justice, Xi noted during Monday’s meeting.

In May 2024, Serbia became the first European country to agree with China on building a community with a shared future for the new era. Since then, the bilateral partnership has expanded beyond infrastructure into technology, green energy, and artificial intelligence, securing a promising start toward building a China-Serbia community with a shared future.

After Monday’s meeting between Xi and Vucic, the two countries issued a joint statement advancing the four global initiatives proposed by China: the Global Development Initiative (GDI), the Global Security Initiative, the Global Civilization Initiative, and the Global Governance Initiative (GGI).

Highlighting that the four global initiatives have contributed Chinese wisdom and strength to solving global development problems, addressing global security challenges, promoting exchanges and mutual learning among civilizations, and improving global governance, Serbia has decided to participate in the Group of Friends of the GDI and the Group of Friends of the GGI, demonstrating its willingness to deepen cooperation with China on international governance and global development.

Xi called on China and Serbia to continue to strengthen coordination and cooperation in international affairs, practice true multilateralism, and make unremitting efforts to promote an equal and orderly multipolar world, universally beneficial and inclusive economic globalization, and the building of a community with a shared future for humanity.

COMUNICATO STAMPA – CONTENUTO PROMOZIONALE

BEIJING, May 26, 2026 /PRNewswire/ — CGTN published an article during Pakistani Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif’s official visit to China, highlighting how China and Pakistan are working together to bring tangible benefits to both peoples and uphold regional peace and stability amid a turbulent global landscape.

In a recent letter to Chinese President Xi Jinping, a group of Pakistani students studying at China’s Tianjin University made a heartfelt pledge to become builders of cooperation, promoters of exchanges, and guardians of friendship between the two nations.

Xi said he was truly heartened to see that the cause of China-Pakistan friendship has dedicated young successors, a pleasure he shared with visiting Pakistani Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif during their meeting at the Great Hall of the People in Beijing on Monday.

The two countries, Xi said, should accelerate the development of an even closer China-Pakistan community with a shared future in the new era and deliver more outcomes from their all-weather cooperation to better benefit the two peoples, contribute to regional peace and stability, and set a fine example for building a community with a shared future with neighboring countries.

An unbreakable friendship

The Pakistani prime minister’s four-day official visit to China comes on the heels of the 75th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between the two countries, which began on May 21, 1951.

Xi said that over the past 75 years, “China and Pakistan have enjoyed mutual understanding, trust and support, and forged an unbreakable traditional friendship.”

The strategic mutual trust and practical cooperation have strongly promoted the development of both nations, he said.

No matter how the international landscape evolves, China will always prioritize the development of China-Pakistan relations in its diplomacy with neighboring countries, Xi added.

He also urged the two sides to advance both major signature projects and “small and beautiful” livelihood programs and deepen all-round cooperation in areas such as agriculture, industry, artificial intelligence, and talent cultivation.

China and Pakistan see bilateral cooperation deepening across all sectors, with rich fruits in trade and economic ties. China has maintained its position as Pakistan’s largest trading partner for 11 consecutive years. It is Pakistan’s largest source of imports and its second-largest export destination, and ranks as the country’s largest source of foreign direct investment, according to the Chinese Ministry of Commerce.

As a flagship project under the Belt and Road Initiative (BRI), the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC) has been upgraded to version 2.0, focusing on five key pillars: growth, livelihood enhancement, innovation, green development, and openness. The corridor has injected over $25.9 billion in total investment into Pakistan’s economy and created 260,000 jobs.

Sharif said Pakistan will deepen BRI cooperation with China and advance CPEC development so that the Pakistan-China relationship will continue to grow and benefit both peoples.

He said the ironclad friendship, which was forged personally by the older generation of leaders, is “growing ever stronger and next to none.”

A multipolar world

Far beyond its bilateral scope, China-Pakistan cooperation is widely seen as injecting a dose of stability into an increasingly turbulent global and regional landscape.

During Monday’s talks, Xi said China appreciates Pakistan for demonstrating “a proactive spirit” and for mediating to restore peace in the Middle East, while Sharif said Pakistan appreciates China for supporting its mediation in negotiations between the United States and Iran.

Last month, Xi put forward a four-point proposal to promote peace and stability in the Middle East, advocating a commitment to the principles of peaceful coexistence, national sovereignty, and the international rule of law, as well as a balanced approach to development and security.

These four propositions provide a guiding framework for peace in the region, the Pakistani prime minister told Xi.

Xi said that China and Pakistan should further enhance security cooperation across broader areas and jointly safeguard regional peace and stability.

He continued that the two sides should maintain close communication and coordination, jointly oppose unilateralism and the Cold War mentality, and promote an equal and orderly multipolar world and an economic globalization that is universally beneficial and inclusive.

In an interview with China Media Group, Chinese Ambassador to Pakistan Jiang Zaidong said that closer cooperation between the two countries serves as both “an anchor” for regional peace and stability and “a firewall” safeguarding international equity and justice.

Against the backdrop of spillovers from the US-Israel-Iran conflict and mounting pressure on the regional landscape and global economy, Jiang said China and Pakistan are standing together to amplify the voice of peace and justice while actively collaborating on practical mediation efforts.

COMUNICATO STAMPA – CONTENUTO PROMOZIONALE

– “Full compatibility” verified with PET bottle recycling streams, proving recyclability from the material design stage

SK chemicals’ plastic materials have secured verification of their compatibility as feedstock for recycling processes in Europe.

SEOUL, South Korea, May 26, 2026 /PRNewswire/ — SK chemicals announced on May 26 that its copolyester ECOTRIA CLARO and its PET-based SKYPET product family have been recognized by RecyClass, a European recycling assessment body, as recyclable within the PET recycling stream.

RecyClass is a non-profit, cross-industry initiative established to advance the circular economy for plastics in Europe. It operates a structured framework to evaluate and certify the recyclability of plastic materials in accordance with evaluation protocols and design guidelines.

In line with the RecyClass framework, SK chemicals obtained the Technology Approval (TA), an assessment that verifies whether a material, when introduced into actual recycling processes, can be reliably used as recycled feedstock without disrupting existing operations. The TA serves as a key benchmark for assessing a material’s compatibility with the recycling process when used as feedstock for post-consumer recycled plastics. Materials whose compatibility with recycling processes has not been verified can cause process disruptions or quality degradation, potentially impeding actual recycling.

With this outcome, SK chemicals has secured authoritative verification of the value of its diverse polyester portfolio as recycling feedstock, spanning from copolyesters to PET and from recycled to virgin materials. While recycled materials are commonly evaluated by whether and to what extent they contain recycled feedstock reprocessed from waste plastics, the industry also regards the question of whether discarded waste plastics can themselves be processed back into feedstock as an equally critical measure of recyclability.

For example, even if a material contains 100% recycled PET, it cannot contribute to a continuous circular structure if it fails to be recycled again after use due to process-related issues, ultimately ending up discarded or landfilled. For this reason, experts emphasize that building a sustainable recycling ecosystem requires materials to satisfy two conditions: incorporating recycled content (Recycled) and being recyclable themselves (Recyclable).

Ahn Jae-hyun, CEO of SK chemicals, said, “This verification is an official endorsement of our materials’ circularity as feedstock, which represents one pillar of the complete circular structure we are building. To establish a sustainable circular economy, we will continue to accumulate technical expertise in recycling and strengthen our competitiveness across the entire process, from feedstock to commercialization, while expanding collaboration with European customers and other stakeholders.”

The seven products that received the assessment include five copolyester products in the ECOTRIA CLARO family and two products in the general-purpose SKYPET family. The five ECOTRIA CLARO products, namely ECOTRIA CLARO 100, ECOTRIA CLARO 200, ECOTRIA CLARO 300, ECOTRIA CLARO 100 CR50N, and ECOTRIA CLARO 200 CR50N, received the Full Compatible grade, indicating they can be recycled together within the PET recycling process without any restrictions across the entire workflow. The two SKYPET products, SKYPET BR and SKYPET BR-V, received the Limited Compatible grade, meaning they can be recycled under specific process conditions.

Earlier, last year, SK chemicals had secured the highest Class A rating from RecyClass through its Letter of Compatibility (LoC) for a PET bottle made with SKYPET CR, its circular-recycled PET. This assessment evaluates whether a container’s structural design is compatible with existing recycling processes and serves as a benchmark for determining whether the container can be processed without issues during actual recycling. The bottle incorporated SKYPET CR BB and SKYPET CR BL.
