FIRENZE – Preoccupazione crescente per l’Hantavirus: laboratori e centri medici si stanno organizzando. 

Negli ultimi mesi l’Hantavirus è tornato al centro dell’attenzione sanitaria internazionale dopo alcuni casi registrati in Europa e il rafforzamento delle misure di monitoraggio da parte delle autorità sanitarie. L’Hantavirus è una famiglia di virus trasmessi principalmente dai roditori selvatici attraverso urine, saliva ed escrementi contaminati. L’infezione nell’uomo può avvenire soprattutto inalando particelle presenti nell’aria in ambienti contaminati come magazzini, campagne, stalle, cantine o edifici chiusi da tempo.

D’accordo sull’urgenza di un percorso di revisione i consiglieri del M5S e di Avs, che hanno rappresentato anche la disponibilità dei capigruppo di Pd e Casa Riformista a lavorare collegialmente per una revisione del sistema elettorale regionale: “Come consiglieri regionali insediati da poco riteniamo urgente cominciare a discutere subito della riforma della 51/2014 perché è buona prassi intervenire sulle leggi elettorali a inizio mandato e non alla scadenza delle legislature, come sta invece facendo il governo, quando possono intervenire logiche di partito legate ad equilibri politici – spiega Rossi Romanelli – Abbiamo un’occasione fondamentale per discutere insieme all’opposizione a proposito delle criticità della legge elettorale attuale: siamo convinti che la direzione da intraprendere sia quella di un lavoro collegiale di revisione per garantire maggiore rappresentatività ai cittadini toscani e più partecipazione. Sarebbe questo il contesto anche per un tagliando dello statuto regionale, ormai più che ventennale, nonché del regolamento, così da rafforzare ed estendere la legge regionale sulla partecipazione e renderla ancora più inclusiva”.

Dopo aver superato ostacoli del calibro di Ternana e Juventus Next Gen, la formazione senese — espressione di un borgo di circa 3.800 abitanti — si arrende al Lecco nel decisivo match di ritorno. Deal Structure  

THEON will acquire a single digit minority equity stake in Twin Prime for a total cash consideration of $3 million. Concurrently, THEON and Twin Prime have agreed to establish a JV, owned 60% by THEON and 40% by Twin Prime, to develop, commercialise, and deploy bespoke AI solutions built upon Twin Prime’s proprietary AI platform. Across the Summit, held 5–7 May under the theme ‘Building Resilient Futures’, Hyosung TNC demonstrated how bio-based spandex is progressing toward broader commercial adoption through infrastructure, supply chain integration and cross-sector collaboration. The company highlighted its new fully integrated production system in Vietnam, which converts sugarcane-derived inputs into Bio-BDO, Bio-PTMG and ultimately Bio Spandex within a single connected value chain backed by an investment of nearly $1 billion. 

Hyosung TNC’s participation at this year’s Summit included an on-stage panel session at the DR Concert Hall, a private leadership roundtable hosted in collaboration with Global Fashion Agenda, and an Innovation Forum presence designed to bring the bio-based material journey to life for attendees. At the Innovation Forum, Hyosung TNC presented its BIO spandex platform, sample applications and brand storytelling around sugarcane as a renewable feedstock with strong scale potential and verified sourcing via the VIVE platform.

Decarbonising fashion’s material mix 

During the Summit’s panel discussion, ‘The Decarbonisation Pathway: Transitions and Turning Points,’ Sora Yoo, Vice President of Marketing at Hyosung TNC, joined speakers from across the fashion, sustainability and finance ecosystem. 

Sora addressed why recycled spandex alone is not enough. Today’s low-impact elastane is mostly pre-consumer recycled – still fossil-based at its origin, with supply limited by how much manufacturing waste the industry generates. Hyosung TNC saw this ceiling coming, and it’s what drove the decision to invest nearly $1 billion in a fully integrated bio-based production system in Vietnam – converting sugarcane into Bio-BDO, Bio-PTMG and ultimately Bio Spandex within a single value chain. 

During the discussion, a key message from Hyosung TNC was that a successful shift away from fossil-based stretch needs industrial-scale infrastructure, trusted sourcing systems and long-term value chain partnerships that enable brands to adopt lower-impact alternatives without compromising performance, durability or supply resilience. 

Sora Yoo emphasised that while Hyosung TNC has invested significantly in bio-based spandex development, price perception remains one of the industry’s biggest barriers to adoption. She explained that scaling more sustainable alternatives will require not only industry collaboration, but also greater consumer awareness and demand to help shift purchasing priorities beyond cost alone.

Non si fermano le polemiche dopo la nomina di Stefano Scaramelli, consigliere regionale uscente Italia Viva, eletto garante regionale Toscana per l’Infanzia e l’adolescenza.

Scaramelli, proposto da Casa Riformista, è stato eletto in Consiglio regionale Toscana con 19 voti e con voto segreto. Gli altri due candidati, Paolina Pistacchi e Luciano Trovato, proposto da Alleanza Verdi e Sinistra, hanno rispettivamente ottenuto 14 voti e un voto di preferenza. Le schede bianche sono state cinque.

C’è l’intervento di Elisa Montemagni, deputata toscana Lega Salvini, ex  capogruppo Lega in Consiglio regionale Toscana. Lega, ricordiamo, non rappresentata in Consiglio regionale Toscana. L’unico eletto alle regionali in Toscana lo scorso ottobre, Massimiliano Simoni, eletto con listino bloccato, ha aderito a Futuro Nazionale, il partito fondato da Vannacci.

Montemagni: “Il campo largo in Toscana traballa sulla nomina del Garante per l’Infanzia, ma Avs e M5S non hanno il coraggio per metterlo in crisi ed alla fine, senza batter ciglio, digeriscono la nomina di Stefano Scaramelli. Un classico esempio di assegnazione di un comodo e ben remunerato ruolo a chi non è stato rieletto Consigliere e la plastica conferma che la Maggioranza in auge nella scorsa legislatura, ovvero quella composta da Pd ed Italia Viva, ovvero l’attuale Casa Riformista, è sufficiente per prendere determinate decisioni, relegando al ruolo di comparse le altre due citate componenti. Un fatto, questo, che non deve essere sottovalutato e se fossimo nei panni dei consiglieri pentastellati e di Verdi Sinistra farei una seria riflessione politica, dato che la legislatura, tra l’altro, è appena iniziata. Alla fine, dunque, è prevalsa la logica del “poltrona e sofà” colpevolmente sminuendo quelle che dovevano essere le naturali ed auspicate competenze di chi avrà a che fare col delicato e variegato mondo dei minori”.

Poi Montemagni: “Il presidente Giani ha detto che non bisogna vergognarsi di fare politica: siamo d’accordo, ma le modalità in cui si è arrivati a questa nomina, sono deprimenti e sviliscono il compito precipuo di un politico, cioè, almeno per noi, puntare al bene dei cittadini e non soddisfare gli appetiti di qualche partito”.
